Take Home an Islands’ Treasure, the 5th Annual Community Art Project in the Lake Champlain Islands, features sixteen Amish-built cabinets, painted by local artists and on display at businesses throughout the Islands from mid-June through August. Northwestern Medical Center is the major sponsor, will additional support from Sam’s Wood Furniture. All the cabinets will be sold at a live auction at Camp TaKumTa on August 21. Partial proceeds will benefit the Camp programs.
