Island Arts is the lead Arts organization for the Lake Champlain islands providing year round Arts Events enjoyed by all who live in or visit its beautiful communities. This non-profit organization has been in existence for over 25 years and continues to grow and flourish - fulfilling its mission to foster and promote artistic creativity in the communities of the Lake Champlain islands through its celebration of the arts, appreciation of our environment, and education. The Island Arts Academy offers many rich and exciting courses, for all ages, in the Visual and Performing Arts as well as learning opportunities and events that increase knowledge of and artistic appreciation for the natural history and environmental issues surrounding Lake Champlain and the Islands. Also through Partnerships with Burlington Arts organizations and collaborative efforts with the schools and the many Grand Isle agencie Island Arts offers and supports an array of programs and events that involve a wider international focus.
