Friday, February 8th
5 pm  Xmas Tree Bonfire on the ice: bring your tree, no trim, to Hero's Welcome. - postponed until Sunday 1 p.m.
  Cash Bar on the pier at North Hero House, Buffet up at North Hero House from 5-8pm, postponed until Sunday 1 p.m.
  Chili cook-off contest by Islands Chamber, (802) 372-8400 Postponed until Sunday 1 p.m. Chili $2 per cup
  Official launch of Great Ice Out Device – Sponsored by DCEnergy Innovations, guess when the ice melts and win big!
   Raffle for pair of Nordic boots and skates - ticketsd $5. Award made Sunday February 10th!

1:00pm 21 km Champlain Islands Ice Marathon race

9:00am 1 km race open to the public
9:15am 5 km race open to the public
10:00am 42 km Champlain Islands Ice Marathon race
 1 p.m.

 Awards, raffle for Nordic skates.

Bonfire and Chili contest on the pier at North Hero House, with cash bar.

Register for any race at www.marathonskating.org, or on site at the Islands Chamber from 8:15 to 9 a.m.

1:30-4:30pm Ingrid Bower's sled dog demo and rides

Saturday & Sunday, February 9 –10  Lake Champlain Ice Fishing Derby

10am-1pm Kids Ice Fishing Derby, kids 14 and under, free.  Prizes, trophies, food
   
1-3pm F-f-frozen Chozen Regatta: human powered machines on the ice - cancelled due to poor ice for bike races.

Sweetheart Boogie - dance at and to benefit the North Hero Community Hall, Tickets $10

Sunday, February 17th
8:30-10am Flapjack Breakfast at North Hero House, $7 per person
11-4pm Over and Back Trek -  cancelled due to dangerous crack out near Knight Island.  Ice in the bay is great - come and skate!

1-3pm

Pick up hockey at the oval: Islanders vs. Lakers
